Privacy Policy

Research privacy · Publication confidence

Your unpublished research stays yours.

Preparing a paper or patent should not mean putting your measurements into a public database. InstaNANO gives you browser-based tools for working with data on your device and a confidential workflow when you order expert analysis.

Using InstaNANO does not, by itself, publish your data or add it to a plagiarism-checking database. We do not publish customer research files on public pages or intentionally share them with other customers. A journal's similarity report or a patent decision also depends on sources and rules outside InstaNANO's control, so we cannot promise a zero similarity score or approval.

01 / BROWSER TOOLS

Your working data

Plotting and initial XRD/FTIR comparisons run in your browser.

02 / CREDIT ACCESS

Verification records

Credit checks may send measurements to our server; the credit database keeps a fingerprint, not the spectrum.

03 / EXPERT ORDERS

Assigned experts

Files uploaded with an order are stored for the requested analysis and handled by the InstaNANO team.

Online tools

Plot and compare in your browser

Free plotting and matching

Graph plotting runs in your browser. For XRD and FTIR matching, reference data is delivered to your browser for local comparison. We do not store your raw graph measurements in an InstaNANO analysis database when you use these free tools.

After the page and reference data have loaded, supported plotting and repeat matching against cached data can work without an internet connection. Cached tool data stays on your device and may disappear if you clear browser storage. New references and account-based features may require a connection.

Paid analysis access

When you use credits or request full reference details, your browser sends the information needed to verify the analysis and your access. That request may include measurement values. Our credit system keeps a digital fingerprint of the sample and basic credit-use records, rather than a copy of the spectrum in the credit database.

The fingerprint helps recognize a previously checked sample; it is not a graph another user can open. Account and credit records are separate from data cached in your browser.

Expert services

Files uploaded with an order

Files and sample details you provide with an expert-analysis order are uploaded to and stored on InstaNANO's server to carry out and support the requested work. InstaNANO staff and our own experts assigned to your request handle those files. When the work requires it, we may send files to an assigned expert at their work email address.

Our experts are required to keep customer research confidential and not share it with anyone outside the InstaNANO team. We do not give research files to other customers, outside analysis companies, advertisers, publishers, or plagiarism-checking services. We do not use your files for another customer's research.

Where infrastructure fits. Website hosting and email systems are part of storing and transferring order files. That is different from supplying your data to an outside party for independent analysis or publication. If your project has special confidentiality requirements, contact us before uploading.

For authors and inventors

Your route to a journal or patent

InstaNANO does not publish your unpublished findings, place your files in a public reference library, or submit them to plagiarism-checking services. Working with our tools or ordering analysis does not transfer your research to another researcher. You decide when and where to disclose your work.

Similarity software may still identify overlap with published papers, preprints, websites, or material submitted elsewhere. Journal and patent decisions are made by the relevant editors or authorities. Our commitment is to avoid creating a public copy of your research through our service, not to guarantee a particular originality result.

Beyond research files

Accounts, orders, and website use

We use the contact, account, order, and service details you provide to process purchases, deliver analysis, answer questions, and maintain service records. If you choose to display profile information publicly, other visitors may be able to see those details.

The website uses cookies or similar browser storage for functions such as sign-in, cart activity, and locally cached tool data. Hosting, email, and payment systems may process the information needed to operate those functions. We do not provide research files to those providers for their own analysis or publication.

Control and questions

Ask about your data

Browser-cached tool data stays on your device until you or your browser clears it. Expert-service files and related order records remain on our systems so we can complete and support the work. You can ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a confidentiality concern by emailing [email protected]. We review requests in light of the service and any applicable record-keeping obligations.

Before you share sensitive files
